About the Author and the Project

Hassan Ali Syed, a 31-year-old teacher and senior adviser from Oslo, has debuted as an author with the poetry collection "Jhula - Emotions in Swing". With a background as a teacher and a strong commitment to youth issues, Syed explores complex emotions such as friendship, love, grief, longing, equality, and exclusion.

"Writing my poetry collection has been like wandering through a landscape of emotions and experiences that both I and many young people can relate to," says Syed.

To enhance the expression of the poems, Syed's childhood friend, Asif Hussain, has illustrated some of the texts with sketches. These visual elements give readers a deeper understanding of the themes in the poems.

"Jhula - Emotions in Swing" is more than a poetry collection; it is an invitation to explore the emotional landscape together with the author. Let yourself be touched by Syed's words and Hussain's sketches, and be part of this unique literary journey.
